Karen represents clients in all manner of civil litigation cases including domestic relations, business disputes and collections.  In her domestic practice Karen helps her clients through the separation and divorce process.  She negotiates separation and property settlement agreements and represents clients in court.  Karen is trained in mediation and collaborative practice and makes every effort to resolve her clients’ cases without litigation.  When litigation is necessary, she utilizes her extensive courtroom experience to present her clients’ best case to the Court.  She also handles all aspects of estate planning and real estate transactions.   She is also a licensed Maryland Real Estate Broker.  Karen is a Rising Stars 2012 – 2016 and Top Rated Civil Litigation Attorney in Urbana, MD.

Karen and her husband Matt stay busy chasing after their two young children.  When she has free time, Karen enjoys the antique shops and breweries in the Poolesville and Frederick areas.
